About me Bells is better much much better. I am having some surgery done the tonesils and sinuses are being worked on.

Updates and in heaven

okay so as I sit here in my bed, yes my bed....lol And watch nascar ... YES it is back already.... I just realized how lucky I am.

I am feeling much much better. I can my forehead...and eye and smile kinda of...okay so I still cant smile and I sound like Elmer fudd... But hey I can arch a mean brow at you....

So my last podcast was all about planning, and projects.....remember that?

Remember how I said I was going to plan better...well yeah I am bored. I am trying to plan though.

On my needles:

Sock Blankie....I am totally addicted to this and need to form a multi step group to stop my love of this....seriously. And now my very generous friends and listeners are sending me sock yarn left overs...

Though be warned, it is addictive if you do. So what else am I up to?

Well I am doing Vestuary after listening to Stash and Burn...I love them. And well I just thought yes I do need a vest... so I am knitting th Butterfly vest by EZ.... i am not liking this right now though. I will try to go into this more when I cast....

I also am doing lace. Yeah all well laid plans have gone out the window. I am doing the Mystic lace KAL and I am doing it along with Sydney of Knaked Knits... She didnt have to twist my arm that hard...lol

bad news...

Hi all. I have some bad news... I have Bell's Palsy ....it came on Tuesday night, at first thought it was a storke but it isnt.

so I cant really speak, my face is partially paralzyed and my speech is very hard to understand.

Update on the Podcast

Hi guys. I have some news to share. I know I said I was getting back into the swing of things but life has a funny way of getting in the way your plans.

Shortly after recording my last podcast, my home life took a bit of a turn, my son had some seizures and at the same time lost his hearing. After much testing and worry it seems that he has a severe hearing loss on his right side and a moderate to severe on the left side. We are unsure of what happened or why this came on like this. We are having surgery on Monday to have ear tubes replaced to remove some fluid that is on his left side. But after that we will have some more tests done and go from there. The right is a permanment hearing loss and he will need to be aided to hear.

So for right now the Podcast needs to be put off as I just have so many balls up in the air and I cant concentrate on this.

I hope I will not be gone long.

Please keep my family in your thoughts as we need them.
